About Us

The Etobicoke Ringette Association (ERA) is a non-profit sports organization, run by unpaid volunteers who are dedicated to providing an opportunity for girls and young women to participate and compete in the ice sport of Ringette, at whatever level their talents will allow.

The ERA started life as Eringate Ringette in 1967.  Now in our fourth decade of operations, our overriding objective is to provide a positive, fun environment that promotes enjoyment for the girls, encourages fitness and fellowship, and teaches skating, skill, teamwork and sportsmanship.

  • Do you have a question about the ERA?  Ask an Executive Member.
  • Interested in volunteering?  Participate in a leadership role on our Executive or Committees, coach a team, or referee/officiate games.
    • Only have time for a few hours a season to help out?  Talk to an executive or committee leader. There's always need for help fundraising, marketing, tournaments or sponsorships.
  • Interested in coaching?  Apply to coach either a house league or rep team.

McWhinnie Award recipients are volunteers who given exceptional effort to the ERA.
