Ringette Demo at Richview United Church Brownie Group
Submitted By Jason Boyd on Sunday, November 23, 2014
In October the Etobicoke Ringette Association had the pleasure of presenting a demonstration of the sport of ringette to a very enthusiastic group of Brownies.

There were eighteen 7 and 8 year old girls in attendance.  We provided rings, ringette sticks, and nets for the girls to get a real feel for how the game is played.  There were practice drills demonstrated, that we would usually do on the ice, to help the girls to get better acquainted with passing the ring one to another.  The girls had a lot of fun participating in this activity.  We actually had enough time to play a game of ringette.  At the end of the evening we handed out Etobicoke Ringette Goodie Bags to all the girls that participated.  Thanks to Wanda Critch, Kelly and Grace Kenny, Margaret-Jean and Nicole Morandin for making it a fun time for the Brownies.

If you would like us to come out and do a demonstration for your Sparks, Brownie or Guide Groups, please contact Wanda Critch at 416-843-4773 and we will make arrangements to come out and see you!!!
