U16 STINGERS WIN GOLD AT THE MISSISSAUGA TOURNAMENT
This was the Stingers’ first tournament of the year. They came out of
the round robin round with a 1-1-1 record (morning games are a struggle
for this bunch). In the final the Stingers took on a tough squad from
Mississauga who had beaten them earlier in a round robin match. Coach
Derick felt that the final was probably the most complete ringette game
they have played as a team. They had a very balanced attack on offense
and solid defense with the defensive core chipping in a few goals as
well. Congratulations girls on an awesome effort.
