U10’s WIN GOLD in Newmarket Tournament --- WHAT A WEEKEND!
Submitted By Jason Boyd on Tuesday, February 16, 2016
What do you get when you combine 3 trips to Newmarket, 1 ring, 4 pre-game talks, 8 x 15 minute periods, a few penalties, lots of goals, lots of saves, 1 pot-luck lunch, 1 scavenger hunt, taking in an 18+ A Provincial Team game, some hot chocolate, many devoted parents, families and fans, lots of hugs and fist pumps and 4 dedicated coaches?
…. A large group of parents, extended family and friends with huge smiles and cameras taking pictures of 15 Mighty Stingers with gold medals around their necks …. checking of course to make sure there isn’t Valentines chocolate inside.
We all had a great weekend, the team stepped up both their game and their friendships a couple of notches.
Congrats U10’s!
